Instructional Design Training for Institutions of Higher Education
I developed a live training session for a client in higher education, which serves a membership of over 270 graduate schools across the US and Canada. With nearly 300 registrations and more than 200 attendees, the session was designed to provide an in-depth overview of instructional design theory as it applies to online learning programs in accredited institutions.
During the training, I covered key topics such as how adult learning theory and learning sciences should shape the design of online courses. I highlighted how instructional design principles support the creation of structured, engaging, and effective online learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students, educators, and administrators. The session aimed to equip attendees with the knowledge needed to design online programs that foster student success and academic excellence in the evolving landscape of higher education.
